Leadership

Leading oneself and others is a lifelong learning journey. It involves learning about many of the key questions in life and work: What motivates people? How can one align a group or organization around a common goal, vision or culture?

How does one intervene to unblock the blockages preventing adaptation of ailing human systems? What kinds of change and transformation approaches work, and when, with who, where? How can dysfunctional leadership be persuaded to transform or let go?

Are there some “golden rules” one should always follow? Are people naturally opposed to change, or is it just the way it is pushed top-down that creates resistance?

Great leaders must be inquisitive, resourceful, influential, decisive, compassionate and communicative. They must think strategically, anticipate trends and be comfortable with complexity and uncertainty.

Truly great leaders can transform entire organizations and even societies.
